This NFT is the first tokenized physical garment in fashion history. To kick off this new collection titled NFT 1/1, we wanted to tell you the incredible story of Pizza Day.

On May 18, 2010, computer scientist and Bitcoin development contributor Laszlo Hanyecz posted on the Bitcointalk forum. He would be willing to pay 10,000 BTC to anyone who could get 2 large pizzas delivered to him: "I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a few pizzas... maybe two large pizzas, so I have some left over for the next day. I like to have leftover pizza to munch on later. You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a restaurant, but my goal is to have food delivered to me in exchange for bitcoins [...] If you're interested, let me know and we can work something out."

After 4 days of waiting, on May 22, 2010, Laszlo finally posts a message to a British user, Jeremy Sturdivant. In this post, he thanks him for answering his request and ordering two pizzas for him at Papa John's restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida, his home town.

Since then, every May 22, the Bitcoin community celebrates Pizza Day in honor of the two pizzas that made history.
